A Faster Way to Find and Book Doctors
Overview
Finding trusted doctors and hospitals in Mangalore is challenging. Many people depend on word-of-mouth or agents, which often leads to delays and confusion.
RedNit aims to simplify this.
My Role: I worked as the sole designer, responsible for research, user flows, wireframes, UI design, and components.
My goal was to build a clean, trustworthy app that helps users quickly find top-rated doctors and book appointments with confidence.
The Challenge
Mangalore is a major medical hub, especially for residents of North Malabar. But because there are so many options, users often struggle to choose the right specialist.
Common issues:
Too many doctors with no guidance
Agents influencing patient decisions
Difficult appointment booking via phone
Confusing navigation in existing apps
The challenge was to create a simple, clear, and reliable experience.

By studying leading apps like Practo, I identified strong patterns and major pain points.
Why This Works
To make sure every design choice had purpose, I focused on decisions that directly improved the user experience:
Removing unnecessary banners made the page clearer and helped users find products faster.
A consistent color system built trust and improved brand recognition
A simplified checkout reduced drop-offs, especially on mobile
Improved product image surfaces helped users compare and decide confidently
